Practicing harder may be key to game wins

After picking up their first win of the season, Oct. 20, the Parkland Rangers have lost three straight to see their record fall to 1-7.

The skid started with a 6-2 loss to the Yellowhead Chiefs, Wednesday in Dauphin.

After a scoreless first period, the Chiefs broke the game open with four goals in the second period, carrying a 4-1 lead into the final frame.

Colby Joseph and Brody Wilson paced the Chiefs with a goal and two assists each. Kayden Sutherland, Reece Richmond, Mitchell Collyer and Briley Wood had the other goals for Yellowhead in support of goalie Nathan Falloon, who made 20 saves.
